On Saturday's Gospel: On the Last Day

From both Latin and Greek Catholic Church; I wrote in to one of the shows Friday asking if there is any more information to read about St. Andrew; besides the few sections in Scripture; but the guy said the Eastern Church really loves St. Andrew and I wondered if that is why I always loved the Divine Liturgy or the Mass in the Greek Catholic Churches; I'm sure some have the same problems as the West; but this one church; a Greek Catholic monastery in Orlando Flordia; there was nothing wrong with them; it was as if you were in Heaven; everything chanted perfectly. Tons of Incense, total reverence and silence; amazing. I fell in love with the Liturgy there. Same with the Latin Mass. Both are Heavenly and beautiful; if done correctly.

Now for the readings for Saturday; Sunday is on the rising from the dead; Jesus coming back to life. But this one from John 5:24-30:

"Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes in the one who sent me has eternal life and will not come to condemnation, but has passed from death to life.

Amen, amen, I say to you, the hour is coming and is now here when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.

For just as the Father has life in himself, so also he gave to his Son the possession of life in himself.

And he gave him power to exercise judgment, because he is the Son of Man.

Do not be amazed at this, because the hour is coming in which all who are in the tombs will hear his voice

and will come out, those who have done good deeds to the resurrection of life, but those who have done wicked deeds to the resurrection of condemnation.

"I cannot do anything on my own; I judge as I hear, and my judgment is just, because I do not seek my own will but the will of the one who sent me."

In this Gospel passage; which could be used for Sunday; because it's on the Resurrection. Those who hear the Son of Man calls them from the tomb and if they believe in God the Father; they shall have eternal life and not face condemnation or going to gehenna.

When the Last Day comes, Jesus will call out to us; even to us who are still living. If we respond in faith; we will have eternal life; but if we do not and not believe in the One who sent Him; God the Father; then those will be sent to gehenna. If we remain in faith of Jesus Christ and always follow His Teachings in the Church and those who are Protestant have a relationship with the Church; and when He calls out for us; we must respond one more time in faith; true faith in the Father.

The hour that will come; but we do not know when; when that hour is here: He will call out to the dead but if the dead does not hear His voice; in the Sermon on the Last Day by St. Jean Marie Vianney; the Angels of the Lord will go to them and drag them out of the pits that they are in and those who do not hear will cry out to the mountains to fall on them; so they don't have to see the face of God.

But those who are Just and hear; and come forth to be with the Lord; they will be living and their rising will be of Life and their bodies shall be with them. Those who do not hear and are condemned; they shall be united with their bodies; and the pain will can't be told; because the pain we go through on earth; does not amount to the pain we shall feel if we do not respond and we are reunited with our bodies and sent to gehenna.

The unjust with their sinful bodies; will call out to the mountains but they must face the Lord and see all the sins that were not revealed in Confession and it shall be revealed that day; among the Just and the condemned. Those who are Just; will be filled with the Glory of God but those who are destined for gehenna; they will curse their parents, wife, husband, children for their condemnation to gehenna. Into the sulphur pit in gehenna.

Jesus; The Son of Man is the Just Judge; not like the judges we have on earth in all the courts in the land. Not one is a judge of justice; yes it is to do justice when wrong has been done; but there is one Just Judge and that is Jesus. His Father and our Father gave Him this life which we receive at the end if we are Just; Also the Father gave His Son the power to judge and what Jesus' hears and sees; He makes His judgment and His Judgment is forever and it is Just.

Jesus says: "I cannot do anything on my own; I judge as I hear, and my judgment is just, because I do not seek my own will but the will of the one who sent me." This means The Father helps the Son do the judging; because as hear in the Gospel of John; "I and the Father are One." They are One and each one helps each other. God judges us and yes the tombs of all kind will spew forth the dead; the lions who ate our brothers and sisters in Rome, the whales who swallowed some, the normal tombs, all the tombs on earth and in the water and under the water. When He speaks; all these tombs shall be empty.

I would love to be in Rome to see this; the tombs in St. Peters open and the Popes who still look like they are alive and see them walk and come back to life. Especially to see the big tomb under the altar open up; St. Peter. Imagine seeing all the incorrupt bodies of the saints come back to life; that will be something special but many will be shocked; where they could die by seeing this.

But also, if the saints are freed from their tombs; also the wicked shall be on earth going to the Judgment seat. Those who are found Just; shall enter Heaven and the wicked shall have a rising of death; where they are risen but enter gehenna. As the Cure of Ars said, "they will curse anyone they can see or think of; to shift the blame of their condemnation on to that person; while it was their own fault. Unless, it is also the parents fault to allow their children to sin under their roof and both will pay the price together in gehenna."

That is why you are to be the protector of their souls and not of their condemnation. No boy friends or girl friends over; no computer in the room, no tv, no play station, X-box, whatever. If they are below the age of 18; no cell phone either; don't even let them use yours. Protect them.

In this Gospel; we must prepare for the Last Day; even though we do not know when it will be; but Jesus does give us these bits of information in the Gospels. Yes, it will be a fearful sight; to see Jesus in all His Glory; for both the Just and wicked. If we live out our vocation to become saints in everything we do; there shall not be anything fearful at the end; because Jesus will welcome us as friends and protect us from the wicked ones at Judgment; most likely the Just will be in Heaven watching from afar; but the wicked will receive Jesus when He is being Just but also hard on them.

Do not be afraid; live our Catholic Faith as Jesus founded it; do what He says and follow Him in everything; vote with His Teachings. Be Catholic. Do not put your politics before your faith; you are Catholic; not liberal, progressive, conservative, independent; NO: You are Catholic.! Your Holy Faith first then everything else behind that. Without God; we can't do anything. We have a double citizenship: in Heaven and American.

Well, in Heaven; we have no taxes; down here; seems like all the government is trying to do; is pass more taxes; making it like King George never gave up his control on us; but, do not worry or anything; we aren't here that long and if we do what Jesus told us to do; then we will be among the Just and hear Him call; but if we do not and do not hear Him call; our fate will be with the wicked.

Laus Iesus Christo: Viva Cristo Rey: Long Live Christ The King and Praise Be Jesus Christ.
