Denouncing The Violence

In Iraq; at Sunday evening Mass; fifty-two people were killed. Jihadists took hostage everyone inside and the Iraqi armed forces fought to get control of the church; and to rescue you could say. But fifty-two people died; which includes two priests and ten cops. I denounce the violence; so does the Holy Father; the Aux. Bishop there asks people to pray for the souls who were killed and for the souls of the gunmen.

We must not hate them; it is natural to hate and not forgive them; which is what the devil wants; but it is Supernatural and Heavenly to forgive; to share in the Divine Life of God; we must forgive them and pray for them.

When I heard this; I thought it was another killing of our brothers and sisters in Iraq going to church; but this was in the middle of Mass; now that is something different and there is something going on now; because this is the first I've heard of raids and hostage taking at Mass.

Fr. Corapi and now the Crossing The Goal Team on EWTN is teaching on Spiritual Warfare and I could see why now and one day while watching Mass on EWTN; Fr. Wade was teaching or giving his homily; he was defending marriage between Man and Woman; all of a sudden he began to choke. He got where he could speak a little and said, "I don't think Satan likes me speaking on this topic." And he went on from there; still coughing to clear his throat; I hope he is ok.

We are at War; this war will end all wars. We are not fighting between flesh and blood; but by principalities, powers of darkness. As St. Paul tells us. The terrorist group called the Church "nest of polytheism" If you don't know what that means; it means a nest of many gods.

But, we aren't a "nest of polytheism" we believe in the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob; as does the Jewish people and the actual religious Muslims who are peaceful. But, they don't believe in the revelation given by God Himself; where He showed that He is One God in Three Divine Persons. He showed this at creation. Because the Word that is God; is the Second Person; God is One; but has three divine Persons.

God is One God; but to know or think; He has one thought and we have millions or billions; His thought must not be created but eternal; so it does not die off or become boring; so He thinks of Himself and His thought is of Himself; which is the Word or the Second Person; but it is still God and the Spirit or Holy Spirit; that is the third divine Person; which is the love that flows from the first and second divine Person; The Father and Son. I gave you a poor understanding of the Trinity from Servant of God Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen.

But this violence; especially violence against peaceful and un-armed Christians must stop. But the enemy is prideful and ignorant; but you Muslims that hijack your religion to make it what you think it says; take some time to learn about your history and learn about the Christian History and I promise you; it will shock you awake.

I have people praying for you and for the souls of the dead.
